Dating back to the 15th century, The Inn On The Green (formerly The Red Lion) is a very popular public house and restaurant set in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills on Stane Street, opposite Ockley village green.  Ockley is 8 miles from Dorking and 10 miles from Horsham in West Sussex.  The Inn combines "olde worlde" charm with a contemporary outlook and the enthusiastic staff are a mine of knowledge about the local area, including the ghost stories associated with the pub!  The Inn On The Green is recommended in the Good Pub Guide and offers superb bar food a wide range of beers, excellent en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation, regular live music and a large, enclosed rear garden with a children's play area and plenty of room for your dog.  The pub and the restaurant are available for private hire and are popular venues for weddings and other celebrations.
